The apartment is on the second floor of the Palazzo, spans two floors and covers an area of 80 sq m. It has been recently re-decorated, offering guests a very high standard of luxury. Parquet floors and wooden beam and brick ceilings give it a unique, olde worlde character, while high-tech devices like fast Internet connection, Air conditioning, central heating, telephone, satellite TV, Hi Fi, stereo, DVD and VCR players ensure that guests enjoy the best of the modern world. You enter through a security door with entry phone. The apartment has a wide living and dining room, and two double bedrooms, one upstairs and the other downstairs. The upstairs bedroom can be converted into a twin bedroom. There are two completely renovated bathrooms with showers, and even a ‘hidden laundry’ in one. The kitchen is great -- fully loaded with amenities. It has a 4-burner gas stove, a full size refrigerator and freezer, a microwave oven, blender, dishwasher , toaster, juicer and TWO coffee makers -- on American and the other Italian. For your further convenience, there’s also a washing machine, vacuum cleaner and iron. And if you’re tired after a full day of shopping and sightseeing, unwind by dipping into one of the English books available.
The furniture is well-chosen and stylish, and personally selected accessories add brightness to the rooms. As a unique, special touch, the owner provides a gift basket with all the necessary ingredients for whipping up your own breakfast -- fruit, jam, coffee and sugar, for instance. If you don’t want to bother with getting your own breakfast, just ask the bar at the corner to deliver you morning coffee and fresh pastries.
The services of a cook and maid can also be availed of.
The Palazzo stands on a street choc-full of interesting stores and wonderful restaurants. Just step out of the main entrance to enjoy fresh produce from the market of Sant Ambrogio every morning, or stroll three minutes to reach the supermarket. The Trattoria across the road provides a wonderful, all-inclusive lunch for ^ 10. That’s convenience at your doorstep, literally.
