"It sounds to simple to say Casa Rossa is something special, but it really is a special place and perfect for our family vacation;3 generations ages 9-80! Besides all the obvious beauty of the place here's what we loved: Visits from the dove and cat; thunder and lightening to rattle your teeth; cooking from herbs from the garden; figs fresh from the trees; walking in the woods;big skies and views of the valley that change every 20mins;being awakened by church bells; dolci & gelati from "Catania Natale"; the video arcade in Lastra (say's Daniel); the pool of course; golf at Montelupo and fun with the water pump."
