of the Tuscan lifestyle, the holiday rental farmhouse
in Tuscany evolves over the Marciano della Chiana, Arezzo.
This beautiful farmhouse is in the heart of the Tuscan
region near Chiana Valley and close to the artistic
cities of Tuscany. Just 4 kilometers from the exit,
‘Monte San Savino’ on Highway A1, the Farmhouse
is structured on a hill overlooking the panorama of
the gorgeous Tuscany countryside. Breezy with the sunshine
dappling the garden, the farmhouse revels in an attitude
of quiet and peace. The farmhouse is set against a lush
backdrop of 700 square meters of parkland, with olive
groves and oak trees. Built on an area of 120 square
meters, the farmhouse can house 10 guests and 2-3 children
having the facility of baby cots and other convenient
amenities.
GROUND FLOOR: Relax
in a lovely living room with an open fireplace (wood
will be supplied by us) and furnished in an elegant
traditional manner. The farmhouse offers the latest
equipment and amenities to facilitate a wonderful holiday
with SAT TV, 2 big sleeping-sofas, a terrace, stone
dining table for 10, kitchen with stove with 3 gas burners
and 1 electric oven with grill combined, fridge, dishwasher,
electric coffee-machine, electric kettle and Toaster.
As a home away from home, the farmhouse apartment has
4 Bedrooms, with the double master bedroom having a
great terrace. The double room with cheerful furnishing
can be converted into a twin room. The two twin rooms
furnished in the Tuscan style can also be made up as
doubles upon request. There is one bathroom fitted with
a tub and the other 2 bathrooms with a shower.
FIRST FLOOR: Evolving
with space and harmony, the first floor has a wall safe
and a washing machine. Fully stocked and convenient,
the guests will find to their surprise, fresh bread,
yam, milk, butter, fresh mineral water and oil. There
is a fully stocked library with books in English, German
and French, plenty of great music CDs and Satellite
TV with English, French and German channels.
ACTIVITIES: Created
with the aspect of the great outdoors, there is a horse
riding club just 15 kilometers from the farmhouse and
a green golf course 17 kilometers away. Guests staying
at the farmhouse can take interesting cooking classes
taught by the owner, Elizabeth, a personality who has
been featured in many culinary magazines. You have a
great choice of a five lesson course that begins late
afternoon culminating in an enjoyable dinner with your
instructor. Or you can take one or two lessons on particular
facets of traditional Tuscan dishes with fresh pasta,
or risotto, meat and Italian desserts. The classes can
be customized according to your requirements and skill
levels. Each lesson costs 30 Euros with dinner and for
non-participants it costs 20 Euros, including aperitifs
and wine. The "students" will be given a recipe
book at the end of the lesson.
The owners own a small cottage on the same property
and speak English, French, German and Italian. Helpful
and hospitable, the owners will assist you with organizing
dinners, tours, afternoon teas and anything else that
you may require. You can enjoy a stay in an original
Tuscan farmhouse apartment and experience the best of
Tuscany.
