Step into the farmhouse in Castiglion Fiorentino, Arezzo and feel a refreshing change in legendary Tuscany. Surrounded by lush and fragrant gardens and vineyards, this Tuscan farmhouse is located in the 'Val di Chio' near the medieval town of Cortona. Restored to its original charm, the farmhouse welcomes its guests with hospitality and warmth. With two large double bedrooms and another bedroom which contains twin beds with a set of pine bunk beds, the farmhouse is furnished in a bright and cheerful manner. A big bathroom with an additional shower room is fitted with modern amenities. The first floor opens out into a spacious and comfortably furnished living-cum-dining room with satellite television, video, stereo and a large open fireplace. The kitchen/breakfast room is fully equipped with a breakfast table, chairs, oven and microwave. The ground floor contains a delightful split level lounge-cum-dining room with two sets of double doors overlooking the well maintained lush garden and green vineyards. Another set of windows overlook the pool with a backdrop of mysterious hills.

When you make your reservation, you will be sent a preference sheet on which you can let us know your likes, dislikes and any dietary information that will aid our chef to customize your meals according to your taste. You can also opt for the "Fully hosted Option", which is an all inclusive package. Breakfast, lunch and dinner, soft drinks and beer are included in the fully hosted package. All meals will be served either in the dining room, or if you prefer, in the lovely al fresco dining area by the pool. The price for this option is based on the style and budget of catering required.

With safety and seclusion, the area is well protected. The pool ranges in depth from1.4m to 1.8m. Young children should be supervised. The owners also offer bicycles for their guests to explore the surrounding area to get the true Tuscan feel. The owners are extremely hospitable and live on the ground floor of the house in a totally separate area from the rental farmhouse, which includes their own garden and privacy. The owners have the utmost respect for the privacy of the guests. However, they are always happy and available to answer questions, give advice, and, of course, to prepare the most sumptuous meals.

TOURIST ATTRACTIONS: Cortona is an easy 15 minutes drive from the farmhouse and is a lovely excursion to venture into. There are little local stores to buy groceries not far from the property, and also larger supermarkets close by. The hill town of Castiglion Fiorentino is only minutes away by car, and has an abundance of character and local charm, cobblestone streets and a good range of shops for visitors. There is a busy fresh produce market every Friday throughout the year, with nuances of the local color and the charm of Tuscany. You can take off on a sightseeing tour and discover the art, architecture and the cuisines of Pisa, Florence, Siena and Assisi which are only an hour or two from here by car or by train from the station in Castiglion Fiorentino.
