This beautiful Italian villa dates back to the 18th century and is set in a lush garden with a central ancient well amidst the lovely countryside of Chianti in Tuscany. Maintaining its originality, this lovely villa has a fusion of the old and the new enclosed by stone walls. The villa is bright and cheerful, furnished in the Italian style, with picture windows and big doors, overlooking the wonderful valley of Chianti, Tuscany. Exhibiting the Italian characteristics, the villa has cotto floors and wood beamed ceilings. The villa houses the dining room, living room and a big kitchen on the ground floor. The dining room is tastefully decorated and has seating for 12 people with luxurious couches and a satellite TV offers a relaxing air while enjoying a traditional Tuscan meal. The living room has a pull out sofa bed for additional guests. The villa can house 14 people on approval from the owner.

The kitchen is well furnished with two stoves tops, 3 ovens, 1 gas and 2 electric, microwave, big refrigerator, American coffee machine, dishwasher, and water dispenser. You can also enjoy al fresco dining on the adjacent covered charming patio. There is also a fully stocked bar where guests can enjoy Italian wines and champagne and pay on consumption. The upper level has 5 large bedrooms, 4 of which have a fireplace. One suite features a queen size bed and a single bed. Three of the have queen size beds, one room features 2 twins and a French single. All bedrooms feature ensuite bathrooms and fabulous views.

The villa houses 12 to 14 persons, though there are additional accommodations for larger groups which, in total will sleep 20-24 people. On the estate, the garden house opens out an additional room for 1 to 2 persons while the guest house accommodates 2 to 3 persons more. Just in the town of Barberino Val d'Elsa , only 200 mts away, there is another apartment that will accommodate an additional 4 persons.

The Italian villa has lovely lush gardens and a pool area with an unusual new 'Spa & Home gym' ensuring fitness, pleasure and relaxation. The gym is a luxury, air conditioned, stone construction just near the swimming pool where one can relax in the Finnish style sauna, or use the gym equipment. There is a fireplace and electric heating here for the colder months, and a small kitchen where cold drinks can be kept. There is a marble bathroom and shower, bathrobes, stereo and a sofa in the gym. The 70 square meter terrace has a barbeque, a stone fountain, a beautifully carved wrought iron table and chairs and is positioned conveniently near the pool. The guests can enjoy the barbeque and have an invigorating game of ping pong.

The villa is an ideal hideaway set in the Tuscan hills with a grocery store within 200 meters. The quaint town has restaurants, moped hire, a wine cantina, traditional stores and also has a bus stop which will take you into Florence or Siena.

The beautiful town of Barberino Val d'Elsa is quaint and medieval, originating in the 13th century. The town still has its original medieval walls near the Valley of the Elsa River. Romantic and serene with the surrounding rolling hills, the town of Barberino Val d'Elsa with its gourmet restaurants and fine wine cellars has been given a high rating by the Italian Touring Club. The villa is within walking distance of this enchanting town and is surrounded by 15 hectares of the legendary Tuscan countryside ensuring privacy. Offering a vista of gorgeous Italian scenery with olive trees, vineyards, fruit trees and a garden and the medieval village of Barberino, the villa also has views of the Chianti valley.

Tourist Attractions: Guests can enjoy wine tasting, hiring mopeds or bicycles, visiting sleepy medieval towns throughout Chainti & Tuscany. There are many tennis courts (5 km) and horse riding facilities (5 km to 20 km) and golf clubs nearby (15 km to 40 km).

General Info: The villa is rented for a 2-week period only between the months of June-end to September. Outside these periods, bookings of 1 week will be accepted. It is still worth enquiring about 1 week as there may be an 'empty' week and the owner will accept the booking. Services included: Electrician, water, linens. Change linens and towels once per week, maid 3 hours for 3 times a week (no Sunday and holidays), swimming towels, special body soaps basket, fruit basket, 1 bottle of Chianti wine or 1 bottle of olive oil from owner’s our production.

Additional Charges

Client Responsibility Cooking charged extra Baby Bed can be provided on request and approval of the owner for the cost of € 100 per week. This price includes electricity for AC, linen for the sofa bed and towels for the pool. There is also cleaning for 30 mins 3 times per week included. There is also a sofabed for one extra person. A fully stocked bar with wine, alcohol & champagne is provided and guests will pay on consumption. The SPA & GYM FACILITY The NON EXCLUSIVE use of the spa is € 750 per week, though the owner reserves the right to also use the equipment. You will need to pay a per week price of € 100 for electricity & heating. For EXCLUSIVE use of the spa the price per week is € 1,300. ** THERE ARE NO CHILDREN ALLOWED FROM 1-16 YRS INTO THE SPA FACILITY **
