beautiful area of Barberino Val d’Elsa lies on
the summit of a hill with ancient houses and a villa.
The lovely luxury villa is in the midst of vineyards,
olive groves and verdant woods on the watershed of the
Elsa and Pesa valleys. The heritage of a fertile soil
with an ancient tradition of a long line of inhabitants
and their descendants has been preserved as a legacy
for a thousand years. From this lovely villa you can
discover ancient Etruscan roads that echo with conquests
of the Romans.
Built in the ‘Lorenese’ period, the architecture
of the villa compares with the famous Medici villas
of the 1500s. This luxury villa stems from an agricultural
background and still displays a centuries old oil mill.
The big gate opens out to a private car parking area
with an independent entrance in front of a garden which
can be used by the guests of the villa. The ground floor
leads the way to a very big salon, a large and functional
kitchen, lovely dining room with a cozy fireplace, a
T.V. room, a double bedroom and two bathrooms.
The side entrance opens out to a verdant huge park
with a private swimming pool for the exclusive use of
the guests only. The first floor of the villa from the
grand salon displays two lovely bedrooms each with a
bath. You will also find two single bedrooms with 2
single beds and a bathroom. A narrow terrace that runs
the length of villa, can be accessed from two of bedrooms,
opens out a wonderful vista of the Tuscan countryside.
Tourist Attractions:
The Villa is also close to all the major citiy centers
such as, Florence (22 Kms.), Arezzo (110 Kms.), Siena
(23 Kms.), San Gimignano, Monteriggioni, Montalcino,
Greve in Chianti, Certaldo and many other lovely places.
The principal thermal resorts of Tuscany as Saturnia,
Rapolano, Vetulonia, Monsummano Terme and Bagno Vignoni
are not far from the Villa.
It takes just over an hour by car or by regular bus
service to reach the coast and view the Tyrrhenian Sea.
