The huge estate produces fine extra virgin olive oil and great wine.

Famous for its linear architecture, this famous villa has hosted royal personalities, such as, King Charles VIII of France and Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte. Perfectly positioned, the villa is a great starting point for excursions to discover the beauty of Florence and the countryside of Tuscany. The lovely swimming pool is shared by the other residents.

You can just relax at Villa Lelia and enjoy a glass of wine or take off to the some of the best restaurants in Italy. With the marvelous countryside surrounding the villa, the guests can explore the private forest or discover local attractions such as horse riding, trekking, antique markets, Caruso’s villa and gardens, medieval villages and Etruscan ruins. You can even take a leisurely stroll down to the village and buy fresh bread or a morning cappuccino and feel like a local enjoying the Tuscan way of life.

Restored to its original perfection 5 years ago, the villa gives you the experience of a royal life. The 2 sets of double doors in the living room open into the loggia and a lovely Italian garden with lemon trees, hedges and a fountain. Bright, quiet and peaceful, the villa’s foundations date back to the 1200’s. With 10m high ceilings, beautiful frescoes, gold gilt mirrors and terracotta floors the villa is the perfect example of Renaissance architecture and décor.

The rooms are breathtaking with the main bedroom furnished beautifully and opens out onto the front terrace with a fabulous view of the hills and Florence. The second bedroom is furnished in luxurious style and has a queen sized bed and a single bed. There is 1 full bathroom with a tub, shower, toilet and hand basin and a second en-suite bathroom just off the second bedroom with a toilet and hand basin. The main bathroom can be accessed from the living room and the main bedroom. The kitchen has a vaulted ceiling and fireplace with a dining table seating 6. Special, sensational and secluded, the villa is splendid being just 10 minutes away from Florence and the lovely Tuscany countryside. The owners speak English, French, German and Italian.

General Info: Trains, buses and all shops are at a walking distance and close to all major highways. From the villa it is just 20 minutes to Montecatini, 40 minutes to Pisa, Lucca, Siena and Bologna. It takes 60 minutes to reach Forte Dei Marmi, Volterra, San Gimignano and Arezzo.
