and enjoy an enchanting holiday in a luxury vacation
villa in Tuscany, Italy, near Talamone, Grosseto. As
a secret hideaway, this luxury villa is nestled in an
enthralling niche of Southern Tuscany, right on top
of a cliff overlooking the sea. This great luxury villa
is close to the interesting medieval towns as well as
the natural wonders of the Maremma Natural Park. Restored
recently, the villa has an ancient Spanish Tower that
was erected to prevent the Saracen onslaught. It has
now been transformed into a fabulous holiday villa that
offers a memorable holiday.
The luxury villa is set on private land and closed
with an electronic security gate. A panoramic vista
greets the eye and a small boulevard of magnificent
agave cacti leads to the front door, sculpting an enchanted
path.
The villa can be entered through the front door and
as you turn right there is a big open space. This space
is the dining area with a fireplace. There are two double
bedrooms each with independent bathrooms. One has bathtub
facilities and the other has a shower. As you go along
the entrance corridor, you will find to the left of
the dining room a fully equipped modern kitchen. At
the end of the corridor there is a third bedroom. This
bedroom also has its own independent bathroom, with
shower and bathtub. Each room is furnished beautifully
with Tuscan furnishings and is bright, airy and pristine.
At the end of this corridor there is a staircase which
leads to the first floor. Here we find an enormous living-room,
equipped with air-conditioning and fireplace. You will
be greeted with a fantastic 180 degree view from here.
This lovely living room is furnished tastefully and
elegantly with comfortable lounge chairs and couches,
on one side of the room. The other side comprises of
a rectangular antique wooden table which accommodates
up to 8 people. The living room leads to an airy terrace
that is divided into two areas. One has an al fresco
dining on one side and relaxation on the other with
deckchairs suitable for sunbathing. The view from here
is breathtaking with a panoramic display of Porto San
Stefano and the hills of Mount Argentario on one side,
and Talamone, with its charming walled town and the
hills of the Uccellina Natural Park on the other. You
will also be able to admire a fabulous view of the islands
of Giannutri, Giglio and the famous marine park of Montecristo.
As you turn back to reach the ground floor, you will
find a small staircase which leads to the lookout tower.
The look-out tower has been restored to house two floors.
It has a double bedroom, with small bathroom with shower
facilities, a walk-in wardrobe and a living-room nestled
in the corner. The second floor leads to a small terrace.
The villa is comfortable and luxurious being equipped
with satellite television, direct telephone and internet.
Every window has mosquito nets, and every bedroom has
ceiling fans.
The Tower is surrounded by two lovely terraces, one
of which has been transformed into a splendid panoramic
lookout, amongst the greenery of the lush garden with
deckchairs. As a relaxation space, the terrace is fabulous
to sit in the sunshine, enjoy a glass of wine with family
and friends and enjoy a barbeque. The Tower also has
its own independent walking trail which leads directly
to the sea, and its own private sunbathing deck, which
gives the opportunity of private boat docking.
