Tuscany Holiday Villa on the Mediterranean Coast of Porto Santo Stefano

Stay in an enchanting paradise and enjoy an exciting holiday in a lovely Tuscany villa on the Mediterranean coast in Porto Santo Stefano, Italy. Nestled in the scenic inlet of Porto Santo Stefano, the villa has easy access to the harbor that has both fishing and tourist boats, and is a point of departure for the Isola del Giglio.

The villa is structured on two levels with wide main living areas with the main bedrooms on the top floor. The outdoor stairs lead to the 2 guest suites ensuring privacy. The villa is furnished beautifully and decorated with antiques. There is a path exclusively for the guests that leads to the private 'piccola spiaggia' beach. This awesome beach has a lifeguard, which is great when you have children around. There is also a bar and restaurant there that is open for lunch and dinner. The outdoor area of the holiday villa is lovely with a private garden and comfortable furniture to relax in and luxuriate in the incredible view. There are a total of 3 double bedrooms, with 1 twin, 1 single and a triple bedroom (1 bunk bed with an extra single bed) plus 4 bathrooms and houses a total of 10-12 people.

Ground Floor: A master bedroom and a single bedroom that is great for children share a bathroom. A big comfortably furnished sitting room with three large doors opens out onto a terrace. The corridor leads to the kitchen and the dining area. In this same wing, there is a bunk bedroom with an additional single bed with bathroom

Lower Ground Floor: A flight of stairs from the terrace leads to the master bedroom suite amply furnished with an ensuite bath. A separate self contained unit with 1 double bedroom, 1 twin bedroom (2 single beds) and a bathroom is located between these 2 bedrooms. All the rooms are furnished in cheerful bright colors following the Tuscan style. The kitchen is fitted with modern amenities and facilities having a dish washer, freezer, fridge, stove, oven and a washing machine. The living and dining areas have a sofa bed that can sleep an additional person. This well furnished area opens out to a great terrace with spectacular views encompassing the sea and the islands around. A round table on the terrace can seat 8 people overlooking the sea. There is also an easily moveable trestle table that can seat 14 people. The terrace also has the convenient aspect of a Barbeque that can be placed on the gravel for an al fresco meal. The indoor dining area has seating for 10 people and al fresco dining can also be enjoyed on any of the 3 terraces. The outdoor area is enchanting with the use of the barbeque, ample car parking and a lovely garden with 3 terraces.

Though there is no wheelchair accessibility, the villa is still suitable for the elderly or the infirm. This Tuscany villa offers exciting activities from its gardens and terraces from where you can enjoy the lovely scenery and the islands of Giglio and Giannutri while relaxing on sun beds, breakfasting in the shaded pergola or barbecuing in the rock garden.

You can sit and enjoy a glass of wine, chat or read a book indoors or outdoors of this lovely villa. There are 3 outdoor dining tables with seating for 15 or more people. During summer, a bus runs every 15 minutes to the beach, or you can easily walk the half a mile required to reach the beach in 15 minutes. The private beach has umbrellas and sun chairs. Included in the villa rental are passes to the beach for 5-6 people.

Tourist Attractions: The Monte Argentario peninsular invites you to explore the near by port of Santo Stefano (15 minutes from the villa) and the marina at Porto Ercole with its fish stalls, markets, boutiques and restaurants. You can take the ferry to the islands of Giglio and Giannutri or visit the inland medieval towns of Magliana in Toscana and Capalbio. You can enjoy a swim under the waterfall at the Saturnia hot springs. In the town of Porta Santa Stefano you can find everything that you need, including tennis courts, supermarket, banks and a pharmacy. You can also hire boats here and there is also a scuba diving school at this perfect location that is suitable for all ages.

You can drive here in about 2 ½ hours, Pisa can also be reached in the same time and Florence in about 2 hours. From January to March, this villa is not rented out unless through special request. In April the weekly rental will be 1,875/- Euros.
