charming luxury villa evolves over 50 acres of sweet
smelling pine forests and silver green olive groves
at the foot of the Zano Mountain, only a short distance
from Lucca, Tuscany. This ancient villa dates back to
the 15th century and has now been luxuriously renovated
to resemble a 19th century villa. The main facade faces
north and has a large door with an architrave and stone
frames. The south side also has a similar entrance.
This luxury villa is structured amidst beautiful surroundings
with a pond, flowerbeds, rose gardens, paths and pergolas.
Restored with modern amenities and the latest facilities,
this luxury holiday villa is suitable for any occasion,
being ideally located. This lovely luxury vacation villa
houses 22 people in 11 double bedrooms furnished with
the Tuscan touch. Ten of the bedrooms feature ensuite
bathrooms. There are 5 large well furnished reception
rooms including a TV room, a drawing room, a comfortable
library and 2 lovely dining rooms. The formal drawing
room has a marble fireplace, a grand piano and overlooks
the lemon garden and the distant Apuan Alps. The library
offers bridge tables and internet access. The family
dining room overlooks the refreshing camellia garden
and has original frescoes throughout its interiors and
a working fireplace. The formal dining room has elegant
décor with ornate fittings and seats 24 persons.
The luxury villa features two big and airy kitchens.
The main kitchen is decorated in an appealing manner.
Being fully equipped with the latest amenities, this
kitchen is used for cooking schools. This luxury villa
entertains with a game room with a billiards table.
The estate ranges over an interesting and vibrant environment
of different kinds of trees with the Tuscan hills as
a backdrop. The outdoor area has a lovely pool with
a shallow end for children. The guests can enjoy al
fresco dining at a table near the pool that can seat
24 people. The estate tennis court has greenset artificial
grass and retractable lighting and is created at the
end of the olive grove.
The estate also houses other buildings, one of which
is the Limonaia, where the lemon trees grew and where
the lemons were traditionally stored each winter in
the building. There is the charming, artistic and historic
Annunziata Chapel, now consecrated, for Anglican wedding
ceremonies. The Stable (Coach House) where our wine
cellar and wine tasting room is located is very interesting
and old. The Coach House can also house an additional
6 persons in 2 bedrooms for groups needing more space.
This luxury villa is beautiful and elegant, being conveniently
located to explore the gorgeous Tuscany countryside.
The guests can also spend the day relaxing on the beach
of the Versilian Coast and discover all the exciting
possibilities of Florence. Lucca offers its ancient
secrets with its medieval-walled city. The beautiful
villa is wonderful to come home to and relax in a country
ambience after a day of expeditions viewing the local
historical and cultural sights.
