Spacious and stunning, the vaction villa is designed to cater to a large number of guests. Structured to resemble a tower, the villa is positioned on a hilltop offering privacy, quiet and serenity, even though it is occupied by many guests. The views are great and beautiful ranging over the hills. Retaining its ancient ambience and original character, the villa has also been designed to offer comfort, warmth, tradition and to facilitate a fabulous vacation with keen attention to detail. The ancient fireplace in the sitting area creates an intimate atmosphere for the guests with games and warm ‘getting to know you’ conversations.

There are lovely adventure walks through the woody forests right down to the valley and the olive groves. These are great especially when there are children on vacation who want to go exploring. As another refreshing change, the guests can walk to the village, it is just 50 meters from the end of the drive, to get coffee and ice cream. There is a bar with a basic range of sandwiches, croissants and a table football machine. Though the bar is closed in August, there is a trattoria 50 meters away, behind the bar, where you can get an inexpensive bowl of pasta and a bottle of wine. The Pizzeria that is just 50 meters away from the villa is open every Saturday and Sunday except in August and has a very good menu. There is a good general store next to the bar fully stocked with all the basics, meats, cheese, bread, cereals and cleaning supplies that is open all year round, also 50 meters away.

The guests need to drive just 10 minutes to reach the lovely medieval walled city of Lucca, Tuscany . Beautiful and inspiring, Lucca also has wonderful attractions besides its cultural and historical values with its restaurants, shops, bars and markets. The villa provides the focal point of being the center from where you can go to Florence, Pisa or the seaside at Viareggio. Sophisticated, warm and hospitable, the villa is a great vacation home that can be shared both in summer and winter, for big groups of people and families. The rental price also includes a maid, 4 hours per day, 3 days per week. The guests have the use of a private swimming pool 11 x 6 meters, with a springboard.

Tourist Activities: There is a bus that goes into Lucca that is 11 kilometers away a few times a day. From Lucca you can get anywhere by train. It takes 45 minutes to Florence, 25 minutes to the Italian Riviera (Forte dei Marmi & Viareggio) and then of course to Siena and other places. Pisa is a 35 kilometer drive away. Viareggio is 30 kilometers by car and Florence a 60 kilometer drive.
