your vacation in a lovely holiday rental villa in Tuscany,
Italy. Restored recently, this refreshing 15th century
Tuscany villa has a private walled garden very close
to the center of Lucca. The restorations have retained
the villa’s 17th century and 18th century original
designs and have displayed the changes with elegance
and nobility. Evolving on an even part of the countryside
in the Lucca area, the Tuscan villa has a beautiful
Italian garden with fragrant and colorful flowers, fruit
trees, and old lemon pots. The garden is surrounded
by an old garden wall that ensures privacy and peaceful
being secluded as a tranquil haven.
The villa is structured 3 kilometers north east of
Lucca. The center of Lucca can be reached within 5 minutes.
The villa is about 600 sqm (200 sqm/floor) in 3 floors
and can accommodate up to 12 guests in 6 bedrooms with
5 bathrooms (one with a Jacuzzi tub).
Ground Floor: The entrance
leads into a well furnished sitting room, TV room with
satellite TV, a big and comfortable dining room and
the Breakfast room. The fully equipped large old country
style kitchen is convenient. There is a separate laundry-washing
machine. There is one tastefully decorated double bedroom,
one bathroom, one twin-bed bedroom with ensuite bathroom.
First Floor: There is
a large salon and a sitting room elegantly furnished.
There is one double bedroom with an ensuite large bathroom
with all modern facilities. There is another double
bedroom with an ensuite bathroom and one double bedroom,
one bathroom and one twin bed bedroom.
Garden: The garden is
private and beautiful evolving over 3000 square meters.
It is surrounded by ancient walls that provide 100%
privacy. The swimming pool is 8.50 meters in diameter
being round in shape and an above ground pool with a
depth of 1.20 meters with a ladder. Guests will be delighted
with two very friendly dogs and one cat that live on
the property.
Staff: There is a full-time
house keeper. He lives in his independent apartment
on the top floor. A professional cook will prepare the
welcome dinner on the arrival day. He is also available
on request at extra cost. He can cook delicious meals
with traditional Italian and Tuscan recipes. The chef’s
fee is $100 per dinner (food and wine at extra cost).
The Maid service and the professional sommelier are
available at extra cost.
For the sports enthusiasts, there is a Tennis court
very close to the villa and a Golf course 20 kilometers
away. For the adventure seeker guests, the beach is
30 kilometers away (Viareggio- Forte dei Marmi), Pisa
is at 20 kilometers, Florence at 60 kilometers, Siena
two hours away, Portofino is one and half hours away,
Cinque Terre takes one hour to reach, Carrara and Michelangelo
marble caves are one hour away and Pietrasanta the artistic
town, is just 30 minutes from the villa.
General Info: There
are 4 hours of cleaning per week day included in the
rental price. Cooking class and professional service
of a Sommelier can be sought on request.
